What I learnt in reflection - possibly add onto my storyline
This is what I came up with after 20 hours... a beginner to Maya, still could not get the shadows, durian, and textures to the level I desire. I sorta like the reflections therefore got a tripod with ball head to try and grab sunset HDRI so that I can have the alien or something reflecting the surrounding. Yet to finalize and update Previz.
After fixing Durian texture, glass and grapes. Added some shadows to passion fruits and spoon. Also adjusted the specular on fruits to let it seem like light bounced from the building across the road but not too much.
Studied hard at some apples, peeled them and finally fixed the textures of my scene's apples. Am I done? Don't think so.... do I have time? Maybe
I shall abandon for now...
Hey look it's brighter! After growing to like that dark mood I realized that my input was not set to RGB!!!!! Anyways now Display color profile has been set to RGB, no longer linear RGB. Lots to learn still... but this is where I shall stop.
